Adalbert of was born about 0910. Adalbert of's father was Eberhard IV of Nordgau C in the Nordgau and his mother was Luitgarde of Treves Cntss Luxembourg. His paternal grandparents were Hugo III of Nordgau C/Lower-Alsace and Hildegard de Ferette; his maternal grandparents were Wigerich von Aachen and Kunigonde de France. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Gerhard Von Egisheim de, Hugo V Count of, Adalbert II De, Hugues III, Hedwig von and Wigburg Von. He had a half-brother named Matfried.
