Isabelle De was born in Hainaut,,France.1   Isabelle De's father was Baudouin VIII Compte De Flanders y Hainault and her mother was Margaret , of Alsace de Lorraine.  Her paternal grandparents were Baudouin IV Le Batisseur Hainault and Alix Alice De Namur; her maternal grandparents were Dietrich II (Thierry II) de Alsace and Sibilla Mabirie d' Anjou. She had a brother and two sisters, named Baudouin IX Ct of, Sybille De and Yolanda, Condesa de.  She died in ,Paris,Seine,France.  She was buried in March 1190 in Notre Dame de Pa,Seine,France.2

‌Isabelle De and Phillip II Augustus king of were married in a religious ceremony on April 28th, 1180 in Bapaume.  They had three sons named Louis VIII 'El Leòn' of, son and Philip.
