Her paternal grandparents were Bernard I (Benno) Duke of Saxony and Hildegarde von Stade; her maternal grandparents were Heinrich Margrave Of Nordgau & Schweinfurth and Gerberga (of Henneberg) Swabia. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Ordulf Duke of, Hermann Prince of, Hermann, Gertrude of and Hedwig of. She had a half-sister named Ita von. Duke of Saxony". (163:26) names her as the wife of ALBERT III.
