Adam I was born about 1101 in <Skelton in Cleveland,North Riding,Yorkshire,England>.1 Adam I's father was Robert I Brus Earl of Annandale and his mother was Agnès Pagnell. His paternal grandparents were Adam de Brus and Emma de Ramsay; his maternal grandparents were Fulk Paganell and Beatrice FITZWILLIAM. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert II "le Meschin", Pagon de, Agatha and Lucy de. He was the oldest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Adam II, Robert "Le Meschin", Peter, Pagon and Agatha. He died in 1143. He was buried in Guisborough Priory,North Riding,Yorkshire,England.2 2 -
