His paternal grandparents were David Youngblood and Matilda Talbot; his maternal grandparents were David Bolton and Elizabeth Ann Benneker. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James David, Jacob Webster, Robert Lee, Laura, Elizabeth and Minnie Lee. He died at the age of 75 on October 20th, 1960 in Pike Co., AL.
