Matilda Talbot 
Matilda was born on October 27th, 1825 in Macon Co., AL.1 Matilda's father was Joel Talbot and her mother was Mary Kirksey. She was an only child. She died at the age of 57 on April 22nd, 1883 in Pike Co., AL. She was buried in Old Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, SE of Shellhorn, Pike Co., AL.1 1 General Notes

"MATILDA YOUNGBLOOD
Matilda, wife of David Youngblood, departed this life at her home in
Pike County on the 22nd day of April, 1883.
She was born in Macon County, Alabama October 27, 1825, and moved
with her father, Mr. Joel Talbot, to Pike County where she was married to
Mr. Youngblood on the 1st day of February, 1844, and moved to her
husband's home where she has resided ever since. She was baptized into
the fellowship of Lebanon Baptist church by Elder J. I. S. Parker in the
year of 1851, and was a consistent and beloved member until her death."

‌Matilda and David were married in a religious ceremony on February 1st, 1844 in Pike Co., AL.1 They had three sons and a daughter, named Roy, Hezikiah Robertson, Marshall Jacob and Sarah Elizabeth.
