"I am now looking at a courthouse record found in Pike Co., AL which is
an estate settlement for David Youngblood. The petition was submitted by
M. J. Youngblood. It states that David Youngblood departed this life on
or about the 26th day of December, 1887. He owned 340 acres of land
plus his home and all his personal property. Apparently David Youngblood
married again after the death of Matilda Talbot Youngblood as a Rebecca
Ann Youngblood, age 50 is listed as his wife in the petition. Others
named in the petition are: Mrs. M. C. Stephens, Sarah Green, H. R.
Youngblood, and the petitioner (M. J. Youngblood). It states that M.
J. Youngblood is a son of David Youngblood. This document is dated the
30th day of January, 1888." Sent to me via e-mail by Gene White on 25
