"Jacob B. Youngblood died in Edgefield County(1), prior to March 14,
1831, as on that date Thomas S. Youngblood, son and John Quattlebaum,
son-in-law, applied for Letters of Administration. (Bk. F. p. 576.) The
following list of names is on the settlement sheet of the estate of Jacob
B. Youngblood, Sr. All of these were related to or connected by marriage
with him: Mastin E. Berry, Drury Phenix, Eliza Phenix, John M. Dozier,
John Bean, James Youngblood, Mary Ann Youngblood, Mariah Phenix, George
Quattlebaum, W. T. Hubbard, T. H. Loveless, John Strom, William R.
Youngblood, (brother), Nancy Kirdsey, James Phenix, David Youngblood,
John Youngblood, William M. Still.
Many of the people on this list later moved to Pike Co., Ala. with
the Youngbloods.
There were seven known children of Jacob B. and Sarah (Still)
