Ottis Ray was born on May 23rd, 1907 in Emmett, AR.1 Ottis Ray's father was Henry Allen Vines and his mother was Martha Minerva Russell. His maternal grandparents were William James Russell and Mary Elizabeth Spradley. He had a brother and a sister, named Elmer and Margaret Maybell. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 64 on March 18th, 1972 in Houston, TX.1 -
