His paternal grandparents were Bryant Eugene Spradley and Emmaline Todd. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Albert Eugene, Terry Davis, Cleo Festus, Joseph Fieldon, Ernest Franklin, Hershell Wesley, Hiram Lesley, Willie Wilson, Ollie Earl, Cody Temple and Dollie Pearl. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 49 on November 11th, 1956 in Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co., TX.1 -
