Hursie B. Spradley 
Hursie B. was born on July 26th, 1906 in Shelby Co., AL.1 Hursie B.'s father was John William Spradley and his mother was Sarah Carrie Cashatt. His paternal grandparents were Manning C. Spradley and Louisa Delula Chritzberg. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Amos J., George Osha, Shirley Clinton, Alvie and Alice. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 76 on March 29th, 1983 in AL. He was buried in Sterrett Cemetery, Sterrett, Shelby Co., AL. Located on Highway 55 across the road from Beulah Baptist Church..1 1 General Notes
