Ellen Spradley 
Ellen was born on October 18th, 1872 in Shelby Co., AL.1 Ellen's father was Manning C. Spradley and her mother was Louisa Delula Chritzberg. Her paternal grandparents were Bryant A. Spradley and Frances Payne; her maternal grandparents were John Chrietzburg and Elizabeth Segrest. She had four brothers and four sisters, named George B., Henry, John William, Robert Dillard, Caroline Corintha, Sarah, Virginia Elizabeth and Mary Emma. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 28 on November 8th, 1900 in Shelby Co., AL. She was buried in Lawley Chapel Cemetery, Shelby Co., AL. Located on Highway 55 north of Sterrett.1 1 General Notes
