Caroline Corintha was born on November 8th, 1851 in Macon Co., AL.1 Caroline Corintha's father was Manning C. Spradley and her mother was Louisa Delula Chritzberg. Her paternal grandparents were Bryant A. Spradley and Frances Payne; her maternal grandparents were John Chrietzburg and Elizabeth Segrest. She had four brothers and four sisters, named George B., Henry, John William, Robert Dillard, Sarah, Virginia Elizabeth, Mary Emma and Ellen. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 70 on January 22nd, 1922 in Sterret, Shelby Co., AL. She was buried in Lawley Chapel Cemetery, Shelby Co., AL. Located on Highway 55 north of Sterrett.1 1 General Notes

Further checking of my Goodwin ancestors reveals that my Great-Great
Uncle, Corbit Goodwin had a brother named Frank Goodwin. This Frank was
born in 1885, son of Silas M. Goodwin (1850-1912) and Cerinthia Caroline
Spradley (1849-1922). I have no details abouth this Frank, and he is
probably not the one you are looking for, but since this family was in
Bibb/Shelby County AL, ajacent to Jefferson County, perhaps there is a
clue in there somewhere.
