Sara Jane was born on January 19th, 1873 in AL.1 Sara Jane's father was John Simon Russell and her mother was Laura Ann Petrey. Her paternal grandparents were William James Russell and Mary Elizabeth Spradley. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Walter, Thomas, Vallie Madora, Mittie Armentha and Emma Florence. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 44 on May 18th, 1917 in AL. She was buried in Ebenezer Cemetery, Pigeon Creek, Butler Co., AL. Located on HWY 59..1 1 -
