Clayton Rushing 
Clayton was born on August 24th, 1891 in DeSoto Parish, LA.1 Clayton's father was Joseph T. Rushing and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Wells. His paternal grandparents were William Cain Rushing and Mary Ann Rushing. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Willie, Jimmie L., Dora Ida, Hortense, Blanch, Bulah, Kahnie, Jewel and Lillie. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 63 on September 5th, 1954 in DeSoto Parish, LA.1 General Notes
