Mae Laverne was born on September 18th, 1910 in Royston, Fisher Co., TX.1 Mae Laverne's father was William Franklin Parker and her mother was Jessie Rushing. Her maternal grandparents were Solomon James Rushing and Silvina Rebecca Wilson. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Byron, Willie Edward, Alton B., Helen and Mary Wilma. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 62 on July 31st, 1973 in Lubbock, TX.1 -
