Amarilla Caroline was born on May 4th, 1896 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Amarilla Caroline's father was Henry Bloomfield Logan and her mother was Sarah Rebecca Barkley. Her paternal grandparents were Bloomfield Logan and Milley Hutto; her maternal grandparents were John Matthew Barkley and Adaline Cobb Barrett. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John Bloomfield, William Henry, Commodore, Calvert L., Curtis Thomas, Sarah Alabama, Mary Susan, Louetta and Martha Rena. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 92 on January 18th, 1989 in Elmore Co., AL. She was buried in New Home Missionary Baptist Church, Elmore Co., AL..1 1 General Notes
