Laura S. was born on June 20th, 1875 in Walker Co., TX.1 Laura S.'s father was Dixon Hall II Lewis and her mother was Sarah Ann Hill. Her paternal grandparents were Dixon Hall Lewis and Susan Elizabeth Elmore; her maternal grandparents were John Hill and Sarah Taylor. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Hamlin Freeman, John Hill, Dixon Hall III, Sarah Elmore, Mary Hill and Claride B.. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 50 on November 24th, 1925 in TX. She was buried in Old Waverly Cemetery, Walker Co., TX.1 1 -
