White males over 21: 0
White females under 21: 4
White females over 21: 3
Total whites: 9
Slaves: 43
Total inhabitants: 52
Ron, I have the 1855 Census, well a photo copy of it, and I show the
following:
White males between 8 and 16: 3
White males under 21: 2 (This means that one of the white males was not
between 8 and 16)
White males over 21: 0
White females under 21: 4
White females over 21: 3
Total Whites: 9 (doesn't add up, does it?)
Slaves: 43
Grand Total 52
The only difference I see is the 3 for males between 8 and 16, but it is
there. Just so you know. By the 1855 census, Hamlin Freeman, whom Mary
was living with in the 1850 census, had gone to Texas and died. I assume
his widow was there as well. Carolyn Golowka: ALGenWeb Archives File
