Thomas Archer Jordan 
Thomas Archer was born on October 22nd, 1841 in Tallapoosa Co., AL.1 Thomas Archer's father was John Archer Jordan and his mother was Jane Caroline Ross. His paternal grandparents were Reuben Elmore Jordan and Emily Dillard; his maternal grandparents were George Washington, Jr. Ross and Sophia Saxon Elmore. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George, John E., Ellen and Charlotte. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 72 on September 14th, 1914 in Inglewood, CA.1 General Notes
