Sarah Evalina Grimes 
Sarah Evalina was born in 1833 in Georgia.1 Sarah Evalina's father was John Grimes and her mother was Catharine Frederick. Her paternal grandparents were James Grimes and Sarah Winders. She had four brothers and five sisters, named James Haywood, John William, Felix Kenan, Robert Franklin, Hepsabeth, Anne Elizabeth, Mary Catharine, Martha Jane and Angeline. She was the second youngest of the ten children.
