Mary Catharine Grimes 
Mary Catharine was born in 1826.1 Mary Catharine's father was John Grimes and her mother was Catharine Frederick. Her paternal grandparents were James Grimes and Sarah Winders. She had four brothers and five sisters, named James Haywood, John William, Felix Kenan, Robert Franklin, Hepsabeth, Anne Elizabeth, Martha Jane, Sarah Evalina and Angeline. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
