Velma Goodgame 
Velma was born on May 31st, 1914 in AL.1 Velma's father was James Robert Goodgame and her mother was Nora Belle Dobson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Lafayette Goodgame and Victoria Lauderdale; her maternal grandparents were James Thomas Dobson and Sara Virginia Darden. She had two brothers and a sister, named James Robert, Jr., Albert Vernon and Eva Virginia. She was the oldest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Ilma. She died at the age of 65 on September 4th, 1979 in AL. She was buried in Andrew's Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Hanover, Coosa Co., AL.1 1 -
