Sophia Ann Gavin 
Sophia Ann was born on March 6th, 1866 in Alabama.1 Sophia Ann's father was Charles W. Gavin and her mother was Mary Ann Garrett. Her maternal grandparents were William Walter Garrett and Nancy Sansom. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Thomas William, Stephen Blocker, Samuel Jefferson, Robert M., John Hiram L. B., Charles W., Jr., Oscar, Nancy Elizabeth, Lucy Ann, Mary E., Frances E., Eliza Ann and Elie B.. She was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 80 on July 16th, 1946. She was buried in Almarant cemetery, Laurel Hill, Florida.1 1 -
