Joshua, Sr. was born in 1791.1 Joshua, Sr.'s father was William Garrett and his mother was Nancy Ross. His paternal grandparents were Edward II Garrett and Ann West Ousley. He had a brother named Samuel. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 58 on January 1st, 1849 in St. Clair, Alabama.1 -
