[coosa1.ged] Freddie (Dawsey) Lewis News and Courier November 26, 1962 Mrs. Freddie Dawsey Lewis, widow of James Stephen Lewis of Aynor, died November 25, 1962. Mrs. Lewis was born in Aynor, a daughter of the late Cyrus and Margaret Anne Jenerette Dawsey. She was a member of the Aynor Baptist Church for 50 years and a member of the WMU of the church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Aynor Post No. 81. Her husband died March 18, 1922. Surviving are one daughter Mrs. Lelia Hughes of Aynor; five sons Mayor James G. Lewis of Conway, Harl C. Lewis and Woody Lewis, both of Aynor, Lee Lewis of Myrtle Beach and Wilson Lewis, a highway patrolman in Charleston; three brothers Jesse H. Dawsey, Harley Dawsey, both of Aynor, and Bishop C. Dawsey of Columbia, and 27 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Children. Lelia LEWIS James G. LEWIS Harl C.
