Philip COE 
Philip was born on August 25th, 1818 in Ross Co, Ohio.1 Philip's father was Hezekiah COE and his mother was Barbara NEAR. His paternal grandparents were Elijah COE and Ann SMALLWOOD; his maternal grandparents were PHILIP NEER and ELIZABETH (Mary) POTTS. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Johnathan C., Elizabeth, Nancy and Ann. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 63 on April 5th, 1882 in Palmyra, Warren Co., Iowa. He was buried in Palmyra, Warren Co., Iowa.1 1 -
