Elizabeth COE 
Elizabeth was born in 1814 in Loudoun Co., Virginia.1 Elizabeth's father was Hezekiah COE and her mother was Barbara NEAR. Her paternal grandparents were Elijah COE and Ann SMALLWOOD; her maternal grandparents were PHILIP NEER and ELIZABETH (Mary) POTTS. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Philip, James, Johnathan C., Nancy and Ann. She was the oldest of the seven children.
