Fannie Belle Allen 
Fannie Belle was born on November 4th, 1889 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Fannie Belle's father was Francis Marion Allen and her mother was Martha Ann Wood. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Early Allen and Permelia A. Jones; her maternal grandparents were Commodore Decatur, Sr. Wood and Malinda Logan. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Marion Commodore, George Molten, James Clinton, Taul Bradford, Benjamin Frank, Carey E., Annie Laura, Attis Alice, Olive, Lue Emma, Bulah and Debra G.. She was the youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 92 in January 1982 in AL.1 General Notes

"I. J. Gothard and Miss Belle Allen were happily married at the bride’s
home Sunday morning, Feb 1, at half past nine o’clock, by Rev. W. T.
Peston. Immediately after the ceremony the couple with some invited
guest, went to the home of Geo. W. Gothard, the father of the bridegroom,
where a reception and feast were prepared for them. We congratulate the
young couple, and wish for them a long, happy and useful life."(1)
