Eleanor was born on October 13th, 1162 in Domfront Castle, Normandy.  Eleanor's father was King Henry II Curtmantle Of England PLANTAGENER and her mother was Queen of England Eleanor OF AQUITAINE.  Her paternal grandparents were King Geoffrey IV "The Fair" "The Handsome" Of England PLANTAGENET and Queen Matilda "The Empress" Of England OF GERMANY; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume VII COUNT OF PORTOU and Eleanor DE CHATELLERAULT. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John I "Lackland", Geoffrey, Richard I "The Lionhearted" Of England, Matilda and Joanna. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William "Longespree" Earl Of Salisbury, Mary CAPET and Alice Of France.  She died at the age of 52 on October 31st, 1214 in Burgos, Castile.  She was buried in Los Huelgas, Burgos, Castile.
