Matilda "The Empress" Of England was born in 1103 in Wincester, Hampshire, England. and her baptism took place in April 1141 in Acceded the throne, Westminster Abbey.  Matilda "The Empress" Of England's father was King Henry I "Beauclerc" "The Good Scholar" OF ENGLAND and her mother was Princess Matilda(Edith) "Atheling" OF SCOTLAND.  Her paternal grandparents were King William I The Conqueror "The Bastard" Duke of Normandy OF ENGLAND and Matilda OF FLANDERS; her maternal grandparents were 54th King Malcolm III "Canmore" "Longneck" OF SCOTLAND and Saint/Queen Margaret "The Exile" OF SCOTLAND. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Reginald Dunstanville Of Cornwall, Henry FitzHenry, Robert "The Consul" Of Gloucester, William I Of Bradninch, Constance, Alice and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 64 on September 10th, 1167 in Abbey of Notre Dame.
