Duncan I MacCrinan "The Gracious" Of The Scots was born in 1007 in Atholl, Perthshire. Scotland.  Duncan I MacCrinan "The Gracious" Of The Scots' father was Crinan, Abbot of Dunkeld OF SCOTLAND and his mother was Princess Beatrix of Scone MACKENNETH OF SCOTLAND.  His paternal grandfather was Lord Duncan, Than of Dule Of Mormaer AND THE ISLES & ATHOLL; his maternal grandparents were 49th King Malcolm II MacKenneth Of Scotland OF ALBA and Unnamed OF ORKNEY. He had a brother and a sister, named Maldred Of Cumbia and DE MORMAER.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 33 on August 14th, 1040 in Iona, Near Elgin, Scotland.
