Lydia Mathewson 
Lydia was born about 1675 in Providence, Providence Co., RI. Lydia's father was James Mathewson and her mother was Hannah Field. Her maternal grandparents were John Field and Ruth Fairbanks. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Zachariah, Daniel, Ruth, Isabel and Mary. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.General Notes
Have not see any accurate info as to birth/death dates. One file shows her mar riage to "Richard Gallup". If you look carefully at the birth dates of the ch ildren, it will be noted that Lydia would have been still having children in he r early 50's - highly unlikely in the 1600's.
