James Mathewson

James was born on August 11th, 1666 in Providence, Providence Co., RI. James' father was James Mathewson and his mother was Hannah Field. His maternal grandparents were John Field and Ruth Fairbanks. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, Zachariah, Daniel, Ruth, Isabel, Lydia and Mary. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 70 on January 7th, 1737 in Prob. Scituate, Providence Co., RI.
