Aaron Dolph 
Aaron was born in 1760 in Redding, Fairfield, Conn. Aaron's father was Simon DeWolf and his mother was Rebecca Knapp. His paternal grandparents were Charles DeWolph and Prudence Beckwith; his maternal grandparents were Moses Knapp and Ganda Adams. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles, Moses, Jonathan, Rachel and Rebecca. He died at the age of 70 in November 1830.General Notes

There is an Aaron DeWolf enlisted as a private in the military for the revolutionary war from Glastonbury Connecticut.
Moses [DeWolf] served in the Revolution in the Third Co.,2nd Regiment N.Y. of the Line. Also served in War of 1812. Moved to P.A. with brothers Aaron(in Providence Township), Charles(Bucktown), Johnathan(Hyde Park) and Moses in Mountain Meadows.
Same Moses Signed Articles of the Constitution in Dutchess Co., N.Y. in 1774 at age of 18. If Moses went to NY, Aaron might also have done so, so Ira Dolph might have been born in NY.
