Alice was born about 1224 in Lusignan, Vienne, France.  Alice's father was Hugues X De Lusignan and her mother was D'Angouleme Isabella De Taillefer D'Angouleme.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugues IX De Lusignan and Matilde DeTaillefer; her maternal grandparents were Count of Valence & Angouleme Aymer De Taillefer Count of Valence & Angouleme and Alice De Courtenay. She had four brothers and a sister, named Hugh XI, William De Lusignan, Aymer, Geoffroi and Isabelle. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry III King of, Richard, Isabel Princess Of and Eleanor Princess of.  She died in Warren, Sussex, England.

‌Alice and John were married in a religious ceremony in 1247 in Woodstock, Kent, England.  They had a son and two daughters, named William, Eleanor and Isabel.
