Richard De CLARE EARL OF HERTFORD 
Richard De was born in 1162 in Tunbridge Castle, Kent, England. Richard De's father was Roger De CLARE 2nd EARL OF HERTFORD and his mother was Maud de SAINT HILARY. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James De, Roger De, John De, Henry De, Aveline de and Mable De. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William D', Alan (Aubigny) De, Godfrey (Aubigny) De, Matilda d' and Avice (aGNES). He died at the age of 56 on December 30th, 1218.
‌Richard De and Amice were married in a religious ceremony before 1182. They had two sons and three daughters, named Gilbert de, Richard De, Maud (Matilda) De, Isabel De and Joane De.
