William 2nd Baron le was born on September 8th, 1298 in Wem, Shropshire & Oversley, Warwickshire, England. William 2nd Baron le's father was William 1st Baron le Boteler , of Wemme, Sir and his mother was Beatrice. His paternal grandparents were William le Boteler , Sir and Angharad verch Gruffudd. He had a sister named Isabel. He was the younger of the two children. He had three half-sisters named Ankaret le, Alice le and Denise le. He died at the age of 63 in December 1361.General Notes

WILLIAM LE BOTILER dejure apparently LORD LE BOTILLER son and heir by 1st wife, born 8 September 1298, aged 36 at his father's death. He was never summoned to Parliament.
He married 1stly, Margaret, daughter of Richard (FITZ ALAN), EARL OF ARUNDEL, by Alasia, daughter of Tommaso I, MARQUIS OF SALUZZO in Piedmont. He married 2ndly, before 1355, Joan, 1st daughter of John [DE SUDELEY], 2nd Lord Sudeley, by Eleanor de Scales, presumably daughter of Roland, 2nd Lord Scales. by her he had a son Thomas who, eventually, on the death s.p. in 1379 of his mother's younger sister margery, succeeded his maternal uncle at 4th Lord Sudeley.
