Margaret was born before 1292 in Arundel, Sussex, England. Margaret's father was Richard I FitzAlan , 8th Earl of Arundel, MP and her mother was Alasia de Saluzzo. Her paternal grandparents were John FitzAlan , Lord of Clun, 7th Earl of Arundel and Isabella de Mortimer; her maternal grandparents were Thomas del Vasto Marquis of Saluzzo and Aluigia del Vasto de Ceva. She had a brother and two sisters, named Edmund, Eleanor and Alice. She was the youngest of the four children. She died before 1354.General Notes
