John (Beauchamp), Lord Beauchamp, 2nd (c), but 1st surviving son and heir, b. apparently aft 4 Oct 1304, when his sisters Alienor and Beatrice were living. He was aged 30 in 1336. He was summoned to Parliament 29 Nov 1336 to 24 Feb 1342/3, by writs directed as above. He served in the wars of France. He m. Margaret, most probably, daughter of John St. John, (1st Lord St. John of Basing), by Isabel, daughter of Sir Hugh Courtenay. He d. 19 May 1343. His widow, who had dower 24 Sep 1343, d. 19 Nov 1361, a month after the death of her son. [Complete Peerage]

John de Beauchamp, 2nd Lord Beauchamp, of Hache, summoned to parliament from 24 August, 1336, to 24 February, 1343. This nobleman participated in the glories of Edward III's reign, being constantly engaged in the French wars of that monarch. His lordship d. in 1343, and was s. by his son (then twelve years of age, and under the guardianship of Robert de Ferrers, and Reginald de Cobham.
