Alice de was born about 1187 in Torre, Devonshire, England.  Alice de's father was William de Briwere , Lord of Sumburne & Torre and her mother was Beatrice de Vallibus de Vaux.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry de Briwere and Miss Walton; her maternal grandparents were Herbert de Vaux , Sir and Grace. She had four sisters named Marjorie de, Isabel de, Grecia (Grace) de and Joan de.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother named Henry.  She died after 1233.

Alice de's second family with Reynold I de Mohun , Lord of Dunster, Sir

‌Alice de and Reynold I de were married in a religious ceremony in 1st husband.  They had a son named Reynold II de.
