Aveline de was born about 1168 in Hereford, Herefordshire, England.  Aveline de's father was Roger de Clare , Earl of Hertford and her mother was Maud de St. Hilary.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard FitzGilbert de Clare , Earl of Hertford and Adeliza Alice le Meschin; her maternal grandparents were James de St. Hilary , of Dalling, Sir and Aveline. She had a brother and a sister, named Richard de and Elana de.  She was the youngest of the three children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William d', Avice (Agnes) d' and Maud d'.  She died before June 4th, 1225.

‌Aveline de and William de were married in a religious ceremony before 1186 in 1st husband.  They had two sons named William de and Warin de.


Aveline de's second family with Geoffrey FitzPiers , 3rd Earl of Essex

‌Aveline de and Geoffrey were married in a religious ceremony before May 20th, 1205 in 2nd husband 2nd wife.  They had a son and a daughter, named John and Hawise.
