His paternal grandparents were Maurice IV the magnificent BERKELEY LORD and Eve La ZOUCHE BARONESS BERKELEY; his maternal grandparents were Roger MORTIMER EARL OF MARCH and Joan De GENEVILLE COUNTESS OF MARCH. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas de, Alphonsus de, Maurice de, John de and Joane de. He was the oldest of the six children. He had four half-brothers named Thomas De, Maurice De, Edmond De and John De.-
