He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Maurice, John, Peter de, Eudo (Ivo), Millicent and Isabel.  He was the oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers named Thomas De and Eudo De.  He died in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England.  He was buried in Church, Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England.
