King William  I (The Lion) was born in 1143 in Huntingdon, Northumberland.  King William  I (The Lion)'s father was Henry Huntington and his mother was Ada de Warren.  His paternal grandparents were King David (The Saint) of Scotland and Queen Matilda (Maud) of Scotland. He had two brothers and four sisters, named King Malcolm  IV, David, Isabella, Countess Margaret, Ada and Matilda (Maud).  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 71 on December 4th, 1214 in Stirling, Scotland.
