Guffie Gay West 
Guffie Gay was born on January 31st, 1893. Guffie Gay's father was Elijah A. (Lige) West and her mother was Laura Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Owen West and Jane Jennie McClure. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Edgar, Burl, Evander, Minnie, Maud Jeanette and Louella. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 84 on December 4th, 1977.-
