Burl West 
Burl was born on October 22nd, 1890. Burl's father was Elijah A. (Lige) West and his mother was Laura Brown. His paternal grandparents were Owen West and Jane Jennie McClure. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Edgar, Evander, Minnie, Maud Jeanette, Louella and Guffie Gay. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 69 on August 1st, 1960.-
