Michael was born on January 13th, 1792 in Mount Pleasant, PA. Michael's father was Michael Sisler and his mother was Rachel Pence. His maternal grandparents were Peter Pence and Mary Unknown. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Peter Pence, George, Elizabeth, Harriet Esther, Catherine and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 87 on June 3rd, 1879 in Bellvue, IA.-
