Harriet Esther was born on April 3rd, 1796 in Mount Pleasant, PA. Harriet Esther's father was Michael Sisler and her mother was Rachel Pence. Her maternal grandparents were Peter Pence and Mary Unknown. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Peter Pence, Michael, George, Elizabeth, Catherine and Mary.
