Sarah Maris

Sarah was born on March 31st, 1697 in Springfield, Chester Co, PA. Sarah's father was John Maris and her mother was Susanna Lewis. Her paternal grandparents were George Maris and Alice Unknown; her maternal grandparents were James Lewis and Sibles Griffith. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named George, John, James, Alice, Mary, Hannah, Susanna, Jane, Katharine and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the eleven children.
